Feng Shui was originally used by
the royal families in Chinese to locate the best place for the
construction of royal mausoleums. The theories and techniques
were spread out to the civilians over years. Year after year,
using Feng Shui to select a graveyard became a custom for burial in
many places in China.
Later on, people developed those
Feng Shui theories for homes, which were widely accepted and applied
by people in China.
While the effects on Feng Shui
for tombs are more difficult to prove and it involves the argument
of the existence of spirits; Feng Shui for homes is easier to explain
and the effects are easier to feel as well.
